Top Wisbech Town role for ex-Holbeach United boss Hayes

Former Holbeach United managed Seb Hayes has returned to management after taking over at Wisbech Town.

Hayes, who resigned his role with the Tigers at the end of last year, was unveiled as the new Fenmen boss on Friday.

The 43-year-old managed 66 wins from 106 matches during his time at Carter’s Park, winning the Lincs FA Senior Trophy, managing a fourth-place finish in the Future Lions UCL Premier Division and reaching four cup semi-finals.

Hayes replaces Gary Setchell in the hot-seat and will be up against Spalding United in Evo-Stik NPL Division One South East next season.

Speaking to www.wisbechtownfc.co.uk, Hayes said: “I’m extremely happy to have the opportunity to manage a club the size of Wisbech Town.

“I’m looking forward to the challenge of managing at Step 4 and can’t wait to get started.”

Also back in management is former Spalding United boss Chris Rawlinson, who is part of a new management team at Skegness Town.

He has already lured ex-Tulips Conor Marshall, Gary King and Ben Davison to the club since making the switch.
