Top turnout for first West Pinchbeck tractor run

Twenty tractors set off from West Pinchbeck Village Hall in the village’s first tractor run event and the public turned out to wave them on both at the start and along the way.

Tractor enthusiasts got up early on Sunday morning for the drive that took the convoy of vintage and modern machines through West Pinchbeck, Pinchbeck village, Surfleet and Gosberton Clough.

Veteran tractor run organiser Paul Bellamy said the turnout was a lot higher than usual for an event of this type.

“There was a lot more public there than usual. The village really supported it,” he said.

Pinchbeck and Surfleet ward councillor Elizabeth Sneath attended and said it was a great event for the village.

Volunteers organised food, drink, games and a raffle, with all proceeds going to the West Pinchbeck Village Hall.
