Top showings from South Holland athletes

The third match in the Boston and District AC. Junior 2021-22 Sportshall Athletics Series on Saturday resulted in some promising performances from South Holland athletes.

Under-15 Quantrill won the three-lap race in 31.7secs, the four-lap sprint in 47.9 secs, the standing triple jump (6.48m) and the shot putt (8.49m). In addition, he was first in both the six-lap run (1.16.5mins) and scored a winning total of 72 in the speed bounce event.

In the under-13 section, Clark-Atkins won the high jump (1.26m), the standing triple jump (6.50m) and shot putt (7.40m). In the speed bounce, he achieved a total of 65 in the allotted time and finished second in both the four-lap (49.3 secs) and the six-lap races (2.19.2 mins).

Issy Reid’s best performances were in the under-13 shot (6.32m) and the standing triple jump (5.80m).

In the under-11 age group, Devan Quantrill won the speed bounce (45), both the three-lap (36.5secs) and the four-lap (52.3secs) races.

Noel Donnelly Coles won the under-11 high jump (95cm) and was second in the standing triple jump (4.70m), speed bounce (29) and ball push (33.80m).

Flynn Donnelly Coles produced some good performances in the under-7 events.
