Tina celebrates 40 years at Spalding bakery

Two giant sausage rolls were baked as part of the celebrations for an employee who has only had one day off sick in 40 years of working for a Spalding company.

Tina Arnold (56) has spent four decades in various departments and roles at what is currently the Addo Food Group’s Spalding Bakery on Fulney Lane North.

She’s one of a number of her family that has worked at the bakery over the years.

And Tina told The Voice that her colleagues at Spalding Bakery “felt like a family” to her.

“I’ve more years working here to come,” said Tina.

The company’s divisional managing director, Sean Stewart, said: “Tina worked originally in The Crescent where this business first began.

“It’s an amazing achievement especially as she’s only had one day off in 40 years.

“It shows how much she’s enjoyed working here.

“She’s worked in every department and is a wonderful colleague.”
