Tigers win away

Holbeach United beat Whitton on Saturday to earn a fine three points in the Thurlow Nunn Division One North play-off hunt.
The Tigers put an end to their recent away day troubles, but they had to do it the hard way after falling behind to Thomas Watkins’ fifth-minute goal.
Holbeach found their way back into the game thanks to a Sam Carter converted penalty.
And they won it through Jordan Oldham netting 15 minutes from time.
They’d lost their previous five away games in a row, but remain right in the play-off picture.
The Tigers were due to be at home against Yarmouth Town on Wednesday night (result not known at the time of going to press).
They are scheduled to travel to Framlingham Town in the league this Saturday.
Tigers: Rigby, Greenacre, Yambasu, Nicholson, Oldham, Harris, Carter, Dougill, Pilbeam, Vieira, Davies. Subs: Prentice, Frost, Thorne, Barnes.
Attendance: 68.
