Holbeach United kick-off their Thurlow Nunn Eastern Counties League season at home to Long Melford on Saturday, although they still await their full fixture list for the campaign.
So far they only have notification of their opening two games, due to the league having to wait on other league fixture lists to arrange match dates around shared grounds.
In their latest warm-up match, the Tigers fell to an 8-0 defeat at home to Boston Town.
Holbeach have named Luke Nicholson as captain for the new season, with the vice-captaincy shared by Jordan Oldham and Oli Williams.
Co-manager Joe Sims said: “These three outstanding leaders embody the standards, commitment and ambition of this football club. We look forward to seeing them lead the Tigers both on and off the pitch this season.”
The club have appointed Freddie May as new first team coach, while placing on record their thanks to Callum Madigan, who has stepped down as assistant manager due to other commitments.
