Thousands mark Bonfire Night

Thousands of people descended on Springfields last week as its annual fire works display went off with plenty of bangs.

Once again the event was a complete sell out as crowds flocked to see the display.
This year’s theme celebrated Springfields becoming the latest RHS Partner Garden.
A spokesman for Springfields said: “It was the biggest and best fireworks show to date with a fantastic floral theme.”
Crowds were due to be back at Springfields today (Wednesday) for its Christmas lights switch on by Julia Goulding and Farrel Hegarty ahead of the Winter Wonderland opening its doors on Thursday.
