Thieves made away with under £20 after smashing a window to a Spalding beauty salon in the early hours of this morning.
The Beauty Room in Victoria Road was targeted at around 2am today (Friday, March 22).
Manager Louise O’Connor said it’s believed a brick was used to smash the windows allowing the thieves to reach a box of money.
However there was less than £20 in the tin.
“All this for less than £20” Louise said while cleaning up glass. “We’ve had to cancel a few appointments and we’re waiting to see how much replacement glass will cost, but we’re still open.
“There’s been quite a few break ins round here recently like at the Lighthouse Project.
“It seems to be a common occurrence at the moment.”
The business has previously been targeted by thieves four-years-ago.
A spokesman for Lincolnshire Police, said: “Incident 54 of today refers to a burglary at The Beauty Room. It was called in at 7.40am.
“A money tin was stolen from within the shop. Investigations are ongoing. No arrests have been made.
“We are appealing for anyone who may have CCTV footage of this area overnight, or nay witnesses to contact us on 101.”
