The long arm of the law

Spalding’s Phab group had a run-in with the law recently – but they all had a great time.

PC Jack Craft and PSCO Paul Coupland, of Spalding police, were guests at the group’s regular meeting.
At the ‘999 Night’, members were able to learn about the work of the police, as well as viewing some of the equipment they use including stab vests and a riot van.
Phab chairman Andrew Inkley said: “It was very interesting and everyone had a great time.”
The group, which aims to encourage disabled and non-disabled to share experiences on an equal basis, meets twice a month and membership for the year is £15. For more visit the group’s Facebook page.
