The battle at the top rages on

The battle at the top raged on this week at Spalding Cycling Club’s ten-mile time trial on the Pode Hole course.

Again the top two were split by only a second.
The pendulum swung back in favour of Frazer Wallis (21:45) this week pipping Matt Chappell, who won by the same margin last week.
Chris Ward rounded out the podium again with a solid ride to third, just a further eight seconds behind.
Dom Brand, this week a little further back, took a solid win in the road bike category and fourth overall (23:02) but in a battle with Mark Booth, who was only a few seconds back (23:10).
Young gun Jacob Booth (24:26) was locked in a tight tussle with Tom Drew (24:27) with Jacob claiming eighth.
Evegeniya Brand showed very well, winning the women’s category with a 24:42 and making the top ten overall.
