Teens aged 13 and 16 arrested after report of sexual assault in Holbeach park

Police are appealing for witnesses after reports of a daylight sexual assault in Stukeley Park in Holbeach yesterday evening  (Monday).

Police were called at 8.32pm following the allegation.

A 16-year-old and 13-year-old have been arrested in relation to the incident. It’s now known how old the victim was.

Part of the park was cordoned off last night and this morning but has now been opened again to the public.

A spokesperson for Lincolnshire Police, said: “Incident 475 of 29 July was reported to us at 8.32 pm.

“We received a report of an allegation of a sexual assault that happened in the Stukeley Hall park area of Holbeach.

“Two young men, aged 16 and 13, have been arrested in connection with this incident and remain in custody.  There are no outstanding offenders. 

“We would like to hear from anyone who was in the area of Stukeley Hall park between 7 – 8.30 pm last evening, Monday 29 July and think they may be able to help with our investigation.”
