Teenager upset at theft of £350 bike from Spalding workplace

A teenaged student has had his £350 bike stolen from outside his workplace.

James Hedges (16) bought the Claude Butler Pagan model 18 months ago with money left to him by his late grandparents, so the bike has great sentimental value too.

The green and black bike, which was locked to a rack near the entrance to Homebase in Westlode Street, Spalding, was stolen just after 8pm on Tuesday (November 10).
James, a Spalding Grammar School pupil who works part-time at the store, noticed the theft after he finished his shift at 11pm.
The incident was captured on the store’s CCTV and has been logged with police.

Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101, quoting incident number 514 of November 10.
