Teen motorcyclist seriously injured following collision

A teenage motorcyclist has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after a collision in Fleet Hargate.

The incident happened at 4.11pm yesterday (Tuesday June 10) on Old Main Road outside Willows Day Nursery.

It involved two vehicles, a green Keeway motorcycle and a white VW Crafter van.

A spokesman for Lincolnshire Police, said: “The rider of the motorcycle, a teenage male, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

“The road was closed while emergency services attended the scene. It was re-opened at around 11.20pm.

“Anyone who witnessed the collision or has information should call 101 quoting Incident 262 of 10 June.”
