A 15-year-old boy has been arrested following an assault on a 14-year-old in Holbeach.
Yesterday (Thursday, July 16) Lincolnshire Police renewed an appeal for information into the incident which took place near Carter’s Park last Friday (July 10).
The boy is reported to have been struck, kicked and punched, sustaining injuries to various parts of his body, including his nose, which resulted in a nosebleed.
The incident was recorded by individuals present and the footage has since been circulated on social media.
Police say the person arrested, whose age means he can’t be named, has been in court and bailed.
A police spokesman said: “As proceedings remain active, we respectfully remind members of the public to avoid speculation and allow the judicial process to take its course.”
