Batman and Robin are hoping to become charity champions by completing a challenge to hit 5,000 golf balls a minimum of 450,000 yards in three and a half hours.
The superheroes, aka golfing buddies Gary East and Steven Coxon, from Spalding, will be donning their masks and capes and giving the challenge a shot at Boston West Golf Club in aid of Children in Need.
Gary said: “We are both in our early 30s with young families.
“Children in Need is a charity we both hold close to our hearts.
“While many of the stories are emotional, they inspire you to want to participate towards a great cause, hence our challenge to be involved and help.”
So far the pair have been sponsored almost £300, but are hoping more pledges of money will be made to support the good cause.
