Take a stroll through the beautiful snowdrops

Get back to nature with a guided walk around Whaplode St Mary’s churchyard.

There’s a chance to experience thousands of snowdrops in their natural setting in a secluded area of the churchyard, where you may also see some very attractive aconites.

The church committee organise a series of walks around the beautiful grounds every year.

The walks take place between 11.30am and 3.30pm this Saturday and Sunday, Saturday and Sunday, February 21 and 22 and Saturday, February 28 and Sunday, March 1.

Refreshments will be available in the Heraldic Suite.

While you’re there, why not take a guided tour around the inside of the magnificent church and find out about of its 900 years of history.
