Taco Bell puts back opening date

The opening of Spalding’s new Taco Bell restaurant has been put back a few days to Wednesday, August 3.

The Mexican fast food joint had originally said it would open next to a new KFC on the Lincolnshire Gateway Business Park on Friday, July 29.

But it posted on Facebook yesterday that’s now changed.

A spokesman for the branch, said: “You’ll have to wait a bit longer, but it’ll be worth it.”

The store has also reconfirmed its offer of free tacos to the first 100 people that attend, though it’s not released a time as to when it’s opening as yet.

The Voice has also contacted KFC to find out when it’s due to open, but a spokesman has only responded as yet to say “We know the people of Spalding have been eagerly awaiting our shiny new coop, and we can’t wait to show them either. We’ll be serving our delicious fried chicken later this summer. Watch this space!”
