Eight people have been arrested on suspicion of hare coursing after a dramatic police chase near Holbeach yesterday (January 20).
Police used drones to find the nine people after an initial report of hare coursing in Washway Road at 12.07pm.
Lincolnshire Police ARV tweeted that the pursuit lasted “well over an hour” and in addition to the arrests, two cars and five dogs were seized.
Drone footage of the suspected hare coursers was released by the Lincs Police Drone account which reported that nine people had been arrested.

A spokesman for Lincolnshire Police, said: “Eight people have been arrested on suspicion of driving a motor vehicle dangerously, failing to stop, hunting a wild animal and using a vehicle on a road without any insurance.
“They have all been released under investigation.
“The arrests were made after we received a report of hare-coursing in a field in Washway Road, Holbeach.”
