Your views are being sought on the ‘hot-spot policing’ of Spalding town centre.
The Spalding Town Board has provided some of the money to central government to pay for the overtime shifts in a bid to see more officers on the streets.
A survey has been launched on how the public have received the initiative.
Sophie Olive, from the Office of the Lincolnshire Police and Crime Commissioner Lincolnshire, said: “Hotspot policing is a crime prevention initiative where police patrol targeted locations where data indicates there is significantly more crime than other locations.
“Some areas within Spalding town centre were identified for increased policing patrols earlier this year.
“We want to understand your current views on crime in Spalding, in particular, anti-social behaviour.
“The survey will take less than five minutes to complete, and it will provide key feedback that will influence future policing in Spalding.
“We want to hear from as many Spalding residents as possible, so please forward this message on to any relevant contacts you have.”
