Superheroes rise to challenge

Ayscoughfee Hall School reception class enjoyed their superhero topic by rising to a series of “Learning Challenges”.
Youngsters designed their own masks to get the topic underway, and also wrote about which super powers they would choose.
They then manoeuvred their way through assault courses of laser beams; hunted and solved the clues in a hunt to find Superworm’s treasure; investigated the super powers of magnets and magnifying glasses; found out about real life superheroes including exploring an ambulance and a day in the life of a paramedic and a nurse.
They ended the topic in a dress up day finale.
