The Spalding and District League’s Knockout Cup got underway at the weekend – and there were goals galore.
Sunday’s highlight was an 11-goal thriller between South Holland United Orange and CSKA Emneth, with the latter edging through 6-5.

South Holland had led 3-2 at the break thanks to Keagan Goodwin, Alan Baxter and Nicky Haw, with second-half goals from Haw and Kacper Pilarz not quite enough.
Elsewhere, Gedney Hillbillies Orange dumped out CSKA Emneth Reserves 3-2 at Hungate Road Playing Field.
Warren McSpelly (2) and Harry Grigas got the goals for the Hillbillies.
Also progressing are AFC Moulton Seas End, who defeated hosts Nations United 3-1.

The final side through are Fishtoft Sunday, who beat hosts Jubilee 2-1 thanks to strikes from Ben and Ollie Walker. Laurence Price replied for Jubilee.
