Sue-per display for arts society

Sue Williams wowed Spalding Arts and Crafts Society with a display of acrylic techniques at the group’s latest meeting.

The October meeting saw the artist demonstrate three different techniques of painting with acrylic at Pinchbeck Village Hall.

The next demonstration will be an oil painting by Carol Hill which takes place on November 6.

It runs from 7.30pm to 9.30pm at Pinchbeck Village Hall and all are welcome.

A few new members may be in attendance after being wowed by the group’s skills following this month’s exhibition at the Autumn Crafts Fair held at Springfields Events Centre.

A spokesman for the group said: “Thanks to all those who bought a raffle ticket and commiserations to those who didn’t win.

“We hope to welcome anyone who expressed an interest in joining the society at our next meeting.”
