More than 1,000 visitors kept the 30 stalls busy at the third annual Holbeach Food Festival.

Holbeach cupcake maker Stephanie Smithson and Silver Finns (fresh Cromer crabs) sold out, Lymn Bank Farm Cheeses and Berberis House Apiary (honey and related products) reported good days, and Bakkavor Pizzas’ stall was busy.

Main organiser Coun Nick Worth said: “It was a great day as we managed to get through it without getting wet and the sun shone for most of it!
“We had just over 1,000 people which is slightly down on previous years but everyone was clearly spending money, so the stallholders were delighted.”

He thanked Holbeach St Marks Community Gym for financial support and The Healthy Hub Grant for promoting volunteering in the Holbeach Community Library.
