Staff threatened with knives during armed robbery at Holbeach newsagent

Three armed men robbed a shop in Holbeach on Wednesday (October 25), police said.

A police spokesman said three men with knives robbed McColl’s Newsagents (formerly Martin’s), High Street, Holbeach, on Wednesday (October 25).

A police spokesman said they received a call around 7.30pm reporting three men had entered the store and threatened staff with knives. They stole a small amount of cigarettes.

Police said they are appealing to anyone who saw a group of three men hanging around the area or running from the area. Witnesses should call 101, quoting the incident number 400 of 25/10.

An ambulance team attended but police said no injuries occurred during the incident.
