Spring in to summer with family fun days

Bluey and Sooty will be among the stars at free family fun days at Springfields Shopping Outlet taking place over the summer.

First up this Friday (August 1) is blue heeler pup Bluey.

He will be making personal appearances at intervals throughout the day in the vibrant Springfields Festival Gardens.

Young fans will have the opportunity to meet and enjoy unforgettable moments with their favourite blue heeler.

The Creature Feature Experience will return by popular demand, allowing families to get up close with real-life animals in an unforgettable day of interactive fun.

On August 8 families can discover snakes, lizards and reptiles, while on August 22 turtles, invertebrates and mammals will be encountered. Watch captivating shows of your favourite furry friends and scaly creatures at the stage in the Festival Gardens.

On August 15, budding palaeontologists are in for a thrilling journey back to prehistoric times as Springfields presents Meet the Dinosaurs.

A tyrannosaurus rex, velociraptor, and baby dinosaurs will stomp through the mall at various times throughout the day.

The interactive activity is the perfect opportunity for families to get up close with Jurassic giants.

To wrap up the summer fun, the stars of the world’s longest-running children’s programme, The Sooty Show, are back by popular demand on August 29.

Fans of all ages are encouraged to join Sooty & Friends alongside presenter George Akid for laughter, nostalgia and magic with a brand-new Summer Fun show, perfect for the whole family.

Adam Whittaker, retail marketing manager at Springfields Designer Outlet said: “We’re excited to launch a fantastic summer of Family Fun Fridays at Springfields Designer Outlet. This year, it’s all about creating memorable moments for the whole family, including live entertainment and TV characters.”
