Spreading the word of South Holland far and wide with FreshLinc trailer artwork

A fleet of lorry trailers belonging to Pinchbeck firm FreshLinc have been transformed with artwork reflecting South Holland.

Ten trailers are now carrying images created by artist Alisha Miller, who was commissioned by arts programme Transported.
The £30,000 project was funded by Transported.

Communications and relationships manager Melissa Poulson said: “This project is the cornerstone of Transported’s ethos – that art can be taken anywhere.
“Haulage is a big part of South Holland’s industry and FreshLinc has been wonderfully supportive.”

Alisha engaged with lots of local people before creating all the designs, including depictions of the Sutton Bridge lighthouses, broccoli pickers and factories in the West Marsh Road area of Spalding.

Another ten trailers are due to be transformed with ideas by FreshLinc drivers.
