Spice ‘n’ easy treat for 11+ exam pupils

Students from Ayscoughfee Hall School celebrated finishing their 11+ papers with a visit to 1498 Spice Affair restaurant in Spalding.

The Year 6 pupils combined a lesson on their geography topic of India with a session making their own naan bread.
Headteacher Clare Ogden said: “The children all enjoyed a delicious lunch and left understanding a lot more about Goa, spices and how to make a naan!”

Mrs Ogden said: “The market stallholders were really helpful.
“The vegetables and fruit were turned into a variety of ‘super hero’ models which were used as a focus for drawing and writing.”
