Spalding’s Pennygate Patient Link bids farewell to Geoff after 20 years

A medical centre’s patients’ group bid farewell to its former chairman who has retired after 20 years’ involvement.

Geoff Perkins was presented with gifts from the committee of the Pennygate Patient Link at the group’s recent quiz night.
Despite his retirement from the committee, Geoff was still the quiz master on what new chairman Phil Scarlett described as “a most enjoyable evening”.

Mr Scarlett said: “The committee wished to wholeheartedly thank him for 20 plus years of support
as a committee member, vice chairman and chairman.
“It is not always appreciated how forward thinking the Patients Link has been and what it has achieved.
“That is something Geoff should be immensely proud of and we great appreciate the time and commitment he has given.”

The Pennygate Patient Link was set up in 1994 to raise money to help the patients of Pennygate Health Centre.
