The Spalding Summer Bowls League is inviting new players to get involved.

The EBA triples matches are played at Castle, Spalding Town and Consti greens on Wednesdays (2pm).

Organiser Mary Pepper said: “There’s nothing at stake and nothing for the winners – it’s just people getting together for a friendly game.”

Green fees are £2.50 per match. To find out more call Mary on 01775 725078 or John Bloomfield on 07708 605120.

This week’s results: Tulips 14 Lilies 26; Lupins 20 Buttercups 15; Daisies 17 Pansies 20; Dahlias 14 Violets 11; Roses 11 Poppies 19.
