Spalding Town’s top girls eye another title tilt

Fresh faces are wanted to help the ladies’ team at Spalding Cricket Club build on their impressive form of last season.

The Town girls were on championship-winning form last year, having lost only one game all campaign in the Lincolnshire Ladies’ League.

That proved no mean feat for the Spalding side, who were playing their first year of competitive cricket last season, having formed three years ago.

The ladies are currently training on a Sunday at Spalding Grammar School’s sports hall from 11am to 1pm.

However, from March 1 the times will change to noon until 2pm.

The sessions are overseen by ECB qualified coaches.

Town are looking for girls and ladies aged 12 and above to join them, irrespective of ability.

If you have an interest in cricket and socialising and want to join the team, contact captain Sarah Dale on 07852 876672 or [email protected] for more information.
