Spalding Tennis Club’s A team enjoyed a battling 5-4 victory over Stamford B in Division One of the Peterborough and District Tennis League.
The triumphant team representing Spalding were Martin Perkins, Ben Brittain, James Gregory, Adam Freeman, Joe Gill and John Farrow.
There was also a 5-4 success for Spalding’s C team, who edged out Deeping C in Division Three.
Andy Rix, Michael and Mathew Pearl, Julian Warrick, Steve Knight and Ian Argent were the Spalding representatives in this clash.
That theme continued with Spalding D, who were also 5-4 winners in Division Three.
Millie and Martin Brittain, George Taylor, Gavin Staite, Glenn Perkins and Lucinda Layton Hannam defeated Deeping E by a narrow margin.
Meanwhile, Spalding lost 7-1 to Stamford in the Peterborough and Huntingdon League and were represented by Phillipa Peach, Jill Warrick, Stuart Nichelson and Ian Argent.
