Spalding road blocked due to fallen tree

A tree has fallen down blocking a Spalding road this lunchtime (Friday, June 26).

Monkshouse Lane is currently impassable (1.15pm) as a result of the tree having fallen into the road only metres from the Bourne Road junction.

One resident, who wished to remain anonymous, said: “There’s a lot wasps swarming around the tree currently.”

Emergency services are reported to be attending the incident.
