Spalding RFC slip to the bottom after mauling at Mansfield

Spalding RFC’s disappointing start to the new Midlands Two East (North) season continued on Saturday as they were soundly beaten 62-10 at Mansfield.

The defeat leaves Town bottom of the table after suffering their third defeat from as many league games – and they’re now the only side yet to register a point.

They’ll hope to remedy that in their next fixture, which is at home to Market Bosworth this Saturday (3pm).

See www.spaldingvoice.co.uk early in the week for a full report from the game.
