Spalding RFC safe from the drop after emphatic victory over Belper on final day

Spalding RFC secured their Midlands Three East (North) status for another year on Saturday as they recorded the home win they needed.

Town saw off Belper 43-12 at the Memorial Field in their final game of the season to ensure they finished outside of the bottom three.

Currently eighth in the table, the lowest Spalding cant finish in ninth with other sides yet to complete their season.
