Spalding nursery buys neighbouring herbs business

Bridge Farm Nurseries Ltd has bought neighbouring Spalding business JVG Herbs Ltd.

Under the new name of Neame Lea Fresh Limited, a range of culinary herbs will continue to be grown for supply to UK retail industry.

Bridge Farm director, David Ball says the purchase is an “exciting and positive step” for the business with the additional opportunities it will bring in the fresh produce sector.
Neame Lea Fresh will continue to operate with its current production team, and additional growth will be supported by its sister company, Neame Lea Nursery Ltd, which has recently completed a £6m development.
