Spalding man (41) in court over indecent images

A Spalding man facing three separate charges of making an indecent image of a child has had his case sent to crown court.

Wayne Robert Simpson, of Albion Street, is said to have made the photographs – one each of Level A, B and C (A being the most serious) – in Spalding between May 22, 2007, and August 17 last year.

Simpson (41), who appeared before magistrates in Boston on February 1, is due to stand trial at Lincoln Crown Court on March 1.
He is on bail, with the condition that he is not to have unsupervised contact with a child under the age of 16.
