Spalding man (39) accused of fraudulently evading income tax

A Spalding man charged with fraudulent evasion of income tax during a four-year period has had his case sent for trial.

Jonathan Peter Warfield (39), of Sharman Way, appeared before magistrates in Lincoln on Tuesday (June 13). He is said to have committed the offence between April 6, 2011 and April 5, 2015. The charge was brought by the Specialist Fraud Division.

Warfield pleaded not guilty. His jury trial is due to start at Lincoln Crown Court on July 11.
