Spalding lunch to commemorate D-Day could become annual function

A social event organised as part of D-Day remembrance in Spalding was held on Monday (June 8).

Twenty six people enjoyed a carvery meal at The Ship Albion in Albion Street.

It was the first event of its kind organised by Spalding branch of The Royal British Legion and included guests from Spalding branch of the Parachute Regimental Association. It is hoped that will become an annual event.
