Spalding High School has been ranked the sixth best secondary school in the East Midlands by a national newspaper.
The Sunday Times’ list of top schools ranks every school in the country.
Its 33rd edition, sees Spalding High School 235th out of over 2,000 secondary schools and sixth regionally.
The King’s School in Grantham was named the top school in the East Midlands with Bourne Grammar School, part of the South Lincolnshire Academies Trust which also oversees Spalding Academy and Cowley Academy in Donington, placed third.
Helen Davies, editor of The Sunday Times Parent Power Guide, said: “The educational landscape is testing – budget challenges, rising student mental health issues, special educational needs and an increasingly uncertain future.
