Spalding Gymnastics Academy trio shine for Lincolnshire at inter-county meet

Three girls from Spalding Gymnastics Academy helped Lincolnshire win the regional inter-county team championships.

Darcy Orford, Miyah Woods and Alex Osbiston all performed admirably to ensure Lincolnshire were the overall Shield winners – fending off the challenge of Nottinghamshire, Northants and Derbyshire.

In the 10/11 age group, Orford scored well and helped her team win the gold medal.

Following on in the second round Woods and Osbiston also helped the age 14 and over team secure the gold medal.

Not content with team glory, Woods also won individual gold in her age group with an outstanding combined score to complete a top day for Spalding.
