Spalding Golf Club’s magnificent ladies win Fourway title in style

Spalding Golf Club’s ladies made home advantage count as they won the annual Fourway match.

Playing host this year, Spalding once again took on teams from Belton Woods, Melton Mowbray and Greetham Valley.

On what was a warm afternoon, eight teams of four ladies played out a Stableford competition.

The Spalding team was on top form and was led by Lady President Jean White and included Sally West, Sue Dewar, Jenny Wilson, Jacquie Clare, Julie Gooderson, Nicki Weller and Margaret Barkway.

Spalding emerged victorious with a magnificent 244 points, ahead of Melton Mowbray (208), Greetham Valley (196) and Belton Woods (188).
