A snap appeal for clothing has been launched by a Spalding charity to help those affected by the London tower block blaze.
Mark and Sarah Le Sage, who run Ella’s Project which redistributes unwanted young children’s clothes, are asking for urgent donations of clothing for adults and children of all ages.
Mark said: “We’re launching a snap two-week appeal.
“Our partner charity have already been in London but have exhausted our supplies and for two weeks we will take donations of any clothes, both adult and children to help benefit those families that literally just have the clothing they escaped in.
“The local community has been very supportive of our appeals in the past so even if you have just one item of clothing you don’t need, please drop it into one of our collection centres.”
All donations must be clean and undamaged and all bags should be clearly marked TOWER BLOCK APPEAL as they will go straight to London.
