Spalding Carl skirts the Rat Race

A Spalding man has raised over a thousand pounds for charity after completing the Rat Race dressed in a tutu.

Carl Repper completed the 20 mile challenge in Stamford that featured 200 obstacle in five hours 15 minutes.

Every year the policeman looks to do something for charity and this year he chose Children with Cancer UK to be the beneficiaries.

He warmed up for the Rat Race with a charity abseil, again in the tutu, knee length socks and glittery beard design much to the delight of his children Cadance-Lilly (7), Rosie (6) and Daisy (4).

Carl’s wife Michelle, said: “We couldn’t be prouder of him.

“He loves doing all the mud runs and wanted to do one for charity.

“With us having three girls we couldn’t imagine what it would be like if anything was to happen to them, so it was that which led to Carl raising money for Children with Cancer UK.”
