Spalding Car Club’s charity drive

Spalding Classic Car Club have put on a fantastic fundraising drive for the Multiple Sclerosis Society.

The group picked it as their chosen charity for the year and raised a fantastic £2,196 through a host of events.

Most of the proceeds were raised at the club’s annual classic car run in June that attracted more than 70 cars, this year finishing at Burghley House near Stamford.

Club chairman Joy Mann handed a cheque to local MS representative Alan Holliday at a recent Sunday brunch outing for members at Westwood Lakes, Wyberton.
