Spalding Arts and Crafts Society set for next meet

Amanda Jackson will be the guest at Spalding Arts and Crafts latest evening on Tuesday (August 1).

The subject is ‘beach light and reflections’ and will be a demonstration on acrylics.
It takes place at Pinchbeck Village Hall in Knight Street from 7.30pm with entry £3 for members and £5 for visitors.
It follows last month’s demonstration by Graham Laughton.
A club spokesman said: “It was a different take on a demonstration.
“Artists quite often take a demo painting home to do some final tweaking and send us the resulting photo.
“Graham decided to show us this process live.
“It was interesting to see the before and after images and it did show just how time consuming the process could be.
“The next painting demonstration is in Acrylic by Amanda Jackson.
“Amanda has been to us several times and always gives a very good evening.”
The club also hold a Paint, Craft and Chat session at Pinchbeck Village Hall, 10am to midday, on the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month.
The cost for members is £4 and for visitors £5
