Nine school choirs took part in this year’s South Holland Primary Schools’ Music Festival.

The event was held at Ayscoughfee Hall School with choirs from Spalding St John’s, Holbeach, Long Sutton, Gedney Church End, Spalding St Norbert’s, Gedney Drove End, Holbeach William Stukeley, Bicker Prep and Ayscoughfee coming together for a morning of singing and performing songs from the first World War era. 

After a picnic in Ayscougfee Gardens the children participated in a workshop led by Act II theatre company.

The festival was sponsored by Rob Bell, of Bell Formwork Services Ltd, Carl Rout of KDH Projects Ltd, Lincolnshire county councillor Nick Worth and the Chosen charity shop.
