Put your local knowledge to the test and fill in the gaps with the Spalding Gentlemen’s Society (SGS) quiz.

The 100-question quiz is themed Spalding and South Holland and is a good excuse to get out and about.

SGS member Dave Jacobs said: “If you think you know your local history or, if
not, would like to get to know more, our quiz is an ideal opportunity to tax your brain and research skills, not to mention the prizes for the lucky winners.”

The quiz is available by either sending a Large SAE plus entry fee to QUIZ, Spalding Gentlemen’s Society, 9 Broad Street, Spalding, Lincs. PE11 1TB or email [email protected] and then send in your entry fee with the answer sheet.

Copies are also available in Spalding at Ayscoughfee Hall and Bookmark.

The Spalding Gentlemen’s Society, an accredited museum and a registered charity, has created a quiz to help raise funds.

The entry fee is a minimum of £1, other donations would be very much appreciated.

There are three prizes up for grabs, with the winner taking home £20,while the two runners-up will get £10 and £5 respectively.

The closing date for entries is September 30.
