A sensational 77 break from Jason Green helped Spalding and District Snooker League Division One leaders Pyramid B make it seven wins from as many games on Thursday night.
The top-tier table-toppers were 5-1 winners at Consti F to keep their flawless start to the season going, with Green’s (O63) heroics coming in a frame win against Warren Peel (scr).
His super 77 is the highest eligible break of the season so far, with only ex-pro Mark Gray managing better.
Alfonso Palumbo (O49) also impressed in that clash with a 37 break in the final frame to keep the Bourne boys at the summit.
Holbeach A are two points behind them in second after they were 4-2 victors over Tulips B. Breaks of 39 and 22 from Mark Woodberry (O42) were in vain in that one.

Pete Mullane (O21) got the job done for his side with a 22 clearance in the penultimate frame.
Meanwhile, Thomas Horspool (O35) made an impressive 39 break to steer Long Sutton B to a 4-2 victory over Services B – who are still looking for their first league win of the season.
