Sneath snares show’s top prize

Elizabeth Sneath took home two awards as West Pinchbeck held its annual village show.

The villagers put forward their various creations and crafts forward for a host of prizes at the recent event.
This year the winners included Ella Willson picking up the Children’s Cup, David Houghton taking the Men’s Shield title, Karen Willetts landing the WI Strawberry Jam Cup and Tim Barzycki judged to be the best entry in the cookery section thanks to his lemon drizzle cake.
Mrs Sneath claimed both the Ladies’ Cup and the Best in Show award for her Christmas cross stitch.
Profits made from the event are used to ensure it goes ahead next year.
