Smart Cabs come to rescue Brownies

Spalding Brownies have thanked a taxi firm that stepped in to drive them to an event.

Smart Cabs came to their rescue to attend a special county event in Boston.
Their district commissioner Carole Baker managed to raise some funds from a crowd funding page but after an article in The Voice the taxi firm very kindly offered to help the girls.
The Smart Cabs team not only paid the final balance for the transport, but they also supplied bottles of water for all the girls and their leaders.
Jack Coupland, manager of Smart Cabs, and his drivers supplied a fleet of new minibuses to transport the girls, much to their excitement as this was a new experience for some of them.
A spokesman for Spalding Brownies said: “Thanks to these wonderful people our girls got to make some wonderful memories at the county event and learn some new skills.
“There really are some very kind people in our community and we are very grateful for that.”
